"Installer"? Is that something I should be doing something about directly? NMM says that the Quality World Map Installer has been added. (Hopefully these questions will be useful to others following in your modsteps. ) BOSS will order those, right? Or I can tweak them from. Heh, I saw part of your order as "Jolly Hooker". There are many video tutorials available on Youtube, such as this one.- Quote from: PanzersEast on May 11, 2013, 02:39:20 PM -That is correct, do not install mods through STEAM as they will automatically update and that can cause problems. These are the SkyrimPrefs.ini and the Skyrim.ini, as well as your savegames. This is not the same for every ENB, so make sure you read through the guide that the author of the ENB preset has written for you.Ī few files should be backed up before adding or changing an ENB.
#INSTALL SKSE STEAM WORSHOP ARCHIVE#
Generally, you'll have to just copy the ENB files from the archive you just extracted and copy it to your Skyrim root folder as well. When you've found one to your liking, download the file and extract the archive as well. Quite a few can be found on the Skyrim Nexus. To make it work, you'll also need an ENB.
You have now installed the ENB program itself. Copy the files from the Wrapper version into this folder, not the data folder. For Skyrim Special Edition, the default path on PC is C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition. This can be found through Steam by right-clicking on the title in your library and going to "Properties". Proceeding with the Wrapper version: Copy the files from the Wrapper version into the Skyrim root folder, which is where SkyrimSE.exe is located. Most computers are compatible with the Wrapper version, especially when playing on Windows. The Injector version is said to be more performance friendly however, and is more often used when there are incompatibility issues with your system. There isn't much difference between the two, but most people opt for the Wrapper version. After extracting the ZIP-file, you'll see two folders, one called the Wrapper version and one called the Injector version.

Extract the zipped package from your download folder. You may also want to back up files before editing them.įirst, download the latest version of the ENB program from the official website, ENBdev.

Please read this guide in its entirety before taking action. Note that not all ENBs are installed in the same way, so it is still necessary to read through the descriptions of certain pages. This is a general guide on installing an ENB for Skyrim.
